Chronic DesireA Poem by Sr.philA Poem Infested with Despair.
Chronic Desire
Obsession is really bad I think am bad, Am I wrong for getting attached? Jealousy is sick, I’m I sick? Infatuated is what I am Searching, waiting, yearning I can almost taste it The sour taste of disappointment the smell of despair knocking on my door don’t answer it Misery comes in threes and I am on number two It keeps knocking temptation is great searching, waiting, yearning I answer only to find nothing there I was wrong I knew it The smell arrives only stronger Almost a wall of thick guilt I was wrong The temptation got the best of me I give up Only for the chance of one day being free. © 2008 Sr.philAuthor's Note
