Hoping and Praying

I won an Editor's Choice Award for this poem back in November 2006.

Dreaming about all the good times,

Hoping and praying you'll always be mine

Knowing not how long you will stay,

Hoping and praying you'll never go away

Thinking of how I act around you,

Hoping and praying you'll never be blue

Loving you will all of my heart,

Hoping and praying that we'll never part

Hoping and praying that is all that I do,

Hoping and praying that our love is true.
