something I wrote a while back.

 The sun has set on our time together.
I always knew there was something, someone better.

Our words have grown cold, there's nothing left to say.
I softly kiss your lips as I take your breath away.

You kick, you cough, your body goes numb.
Everyone thinks you're out with her, I'm not that f*****g dumb.

With your last ounce of life.
You look up at me, is this all that is left of a love that could not be?

Unconscious beside me, I write you a letter.
This is what you want, a chance to know me better.
