Depression

An acrostic poem about depression that I wrote in 5th grade

Down in the depths of despair,

Every thought feels heavy and dark,

Pain and sadness seem endless,

Reaching for hope feels impossible,

Every day is a struggle,

Sinking deeper into the abyss,

Striving to find a glimmer of light,

Illuminating the path to healing,

Overcoming the weight of depression,

Never giving up on the journey.
