I want to write to you

Of the color of music

And the scent of a sunset

The feel of a raincloud

And the sound of a smile

 

For things in this life are not

Black and white

Night and day

Live or die

It is the in-between that shows the tale

Of telling beauty

 

Grace equals a glow

from the secrets of stars

that burned away

Their ashes scattered upon the souls

Of the unknown heroes

Whose minds never feel

and hearts never know

Their own glory

this is beautiful. i love the imagery throughout especially the first stanza. i love how u began this poem with the line "i want to write to you". i've felt that way so many times, if only we could make someone feel & see the beautiful things you feel & see. if only everyone could see the beauty & wonder you've described here. absolutely perfect poem.

[Last Lying Look]

This was amazing! I loved the emotions it inspired in my.
My favorite part was:
" Grace equals a glow

Their ashes scattered upon the souls
Of the unknown heroes
Whose minds never feel
and hearts never know
Their own glory"
I could feel the glowing warmth in that part.
