Prey

Prey

A Poem by CoffeeVampier

There's nowhere to hide
I am all that's left today
I am the
vultures prey

It's the end of the day
I lie in this nets
I lie in the mess

The grim's in her nets
She waits out night
I'll cry tonight

Nowhere to go
Nowhere to hide
I wish someone would be by my side

I could certainly relate to this poem. Sometimes I feel like 'prey'--like I am just so broken that anyone and anything could just hurt me whever they want, without any effort at all. I could especally relate to the last line because sometimes, all I want is for someone to be there. I think many people will be able to feel the emotion in this. Well done.

That you, and I thought there was something odd about "No where." I will fix it.

Don't forget the 'no where' in the first line.
