I like the poem itself, but it doesn't strike me as having anything to do with Canada. Sounds more like the USA to me. Did you enter it into the Canadian contest because you are Canadian?

I wrote it about Canada, having to do with the natives we have oppressed, but it does seem more american, and I am Canadian, but my intent was to write about Canada.
