Inside Raspberry ForestA Poem by ErithVertA children's poem (that doesn't rhyme :)Who could look into the key hole? It is a small foggy window, Like looking at small figures inside a dollhouse.
Hammond took a glimpse And he saw Closed shelves, Empty cupboards and Frogs communicating with toads, They weren't happy.
They stood with empty jars, Empty plates, empty bowls No bites, no morsels, no crumbs. Their potbellies sticking out of Their pinstriped suits.
“These were magical times, But now we ate everything.” A toad said. And then they all hopped off, Leaving a mess of everything. Baffled, Hammond stood there- “But what happened to the muffin man?” © 2014 ErithVert |
