I am not sure if I should say this is a story or just a thought?

A need for me

Sometimes I sit and think and other times I ponder endlessly, what this life would be like if there was no need for me. Would the sun still rise and set, would the season continue? Am I but a mere speck, just dust on the surface of this planet.
