My Imaginary Best Friend

A poem inspired by my always havng an imaginary friend when I was younger.....

I never had to look for you
You've always just been there
In my heart
And in my dreams
By my side, no matter where.

You never cared who I thought I was
Or who I claimed to be
My loyal friend
Through good tmes and bad
No one else can see you. Only me.
