Sadness sets in

She sits there on the bed
With nothing to be said
The sad look in her eyes
She lets out a sigh
Tears begin to fall
Softly down her cheek
She doesnt understand it all
How a man she cared so much about
Could go up and above
To risk losing her love
Unable to channel his hurt
She will not lose hope
For she knows he means well
And maybe he will learn to cope
As she wipes the tears away
She knows her heart
will not go astray
And Day by day
She will do her part
Let his mind not wonder
For she is there to stay
And wouldnt have it
