Words begin to fuse
Fostering the enthused mind....
Rhythmic intellect begins to unwind
The significance behind mankind when soul is revealed
So much is concealed
Behind the flesh
We often forget
Our main focus.....
Sun rise hits at 4:48
Sets quick at 7:06
Making way for the climbing moon
North slants the sky at noon
South suited at six
Three makes east
West-pieced-at nine
A solar design
Underlines
Nature’s intelligence
Gravitation pulls us towards nothingness
We replace our longitude with solitude
Our latitude with attitude
Stop spinning on our axis
Lacking what we never practice
Blind-sided truths of life
Nature is such a beautiful entity and always teaches us that the simplest things in life are what make it special we just have to look... a really extraordinary piece with great insight and lesson to all.

LiLi, this is insightful, passionate, imaginative and the thought is fully charged with imagery, as well as knowledge, beautifully written and a pleasure to read.
A poem that is well worded and calls for reflection on what is hidden. Your poem is fresh and pleasantly different calling to mind so many star bursts of thoughts. Excellent poem and the length is perfect.
sometimes its hard to accept the shortness of a piece,
but remember that usually the shorter a piece the better, since it means a person can read 2 of them. ^^
very nice and tight rhymes, i liked the wordplay alot, you flow well. (thats a pun)
I love your fusion here, Li Li, of time and space (interesting that I'd never in my mind made the strong connection between a clock face and a compass rose), of geography and psychology...certainly a thought-provoking piece (as are all of your works)...I long to hear it in your voice to rhythm.
My real name is Alicia. I live on the east side of St. Louis.
I've grown to have a passion for spoken word. I started writing poetry at a very young age but never thought it was something to.. more..
