Love is rough

Love is rough

A Poem by Sean_Norman

I write you a poem to show you my love.

Yet you let it fly away like a wounded dove.

I stay up all night waiting on your call.

I guess that's my fault I chose to fall.

I lay down trying to forget.

When my phone rings begging to forgive.

Day after day I listen to the lies.

Hoping one day you will be in my life.

I pray to the heavens for it to get better.

Knowing in my heart we will never be together.

It is a lot easier said than done.

To let go of someone that you love.

I look to the stars and hope one day.

A woman will come into my life and I will hear her say.

Those three little words that mean so much.

Pointed in my direction like a beautiful angel from above.
