thirteen:this is my love for you

thirteen:this is my love for you

A Poem by Subliminal Silence
"

me and an ex got matching tattoos on our left wrists. the side of the heart. innocuous enough, ambiguous enough, the number 13... our favourite number. this was the first shot at a 'love poem' in years. absolutely years. -shrugs-

"

the watch is off,

the sleeves are up

and i'm showing the world

my love for you

this is my love for you

this is my love for you

thirteen times infinity

curling around each other

like cigarette smoke

this is all for you

this is all for you

this is my love for you

shirt sleeves up

no watch to hide

the thirteen on my wrist

all for you

all for you

this is my love for you

Very symbolic & even more so since it's a true story! Great job writing this!

Well done on this first attempt at a love poem. Thirteen can be lucky for some! Obviously not you that time but better luck next huh? Smiling at you, Tai

Has a sweet nature with a splash of innocence. Love is such a beautiful thing...what a great way to express it.

it flows really well, and matches a personal feeling of love for you well.
Tattoos are great, well written.
