Janitorial Inquisition

Janitorial Inquisition

A Poem by Subliminal Silence

here i am
to pick up the pieces
and mend the broken hearts
to clean up the debris
of someone else's hands
to show those girls the way
and onto bigger,
better things.

stepping stone
on their way to the future
to the brighter, shinier now
my purpose is served
when they move along
to bigger,
better things.

bigger,
better things.

i actually like how you ended with those words twice. It drives home the point. Sadly, I've felt the same way in my life many times, and I am sorry that you feel as such.

This too shall pass. Have I lied to you yet?
