Thump, Thump, Thump

Thump, Thump, Thump

A Poem by Amanda
"

What I picture it would be like if this actually happened to me.

"

My heart beats,
So fast, so slow,
It is all I can hear.
Thump, thump, thump.

Ladies and gents, take your seats,
Don’t want to miss this final show,
The Reaper’s coming near.
Thump, Thump, Thump

Your heart beats,
So fast, so slow,
It’s all you can hear,
Thump, thump, thump

My greatest feat,
Has you running for me, desperado,
Am I really that dear?
Thump, thump, thump.

Your eyes fill with heat,
And you scream out, “No!”
As I fall to the ground, peer among peer.
Thump, thump…thump.

My heart can’t beat,
Not fast, not slow.
You can’t hear yours, even with all ears.
Thump…thump…thump.
