The Piano ManA Poem by AmandaShort and sweet poem about a woman listening to a man playing the pianoI watch his long fingers, Mesmerized by the way they move, The way they flow over the keys unhindered, The sound is frenzied but smooth. He’s up there doing something I could never do. The room is filled with people, But the music fades them away, Leaving the stillness of a beetle, Strange compared to the beautiful disarray. Everyone must feel this haze, I can’t be the only fan, Of the creator of this daze, The Piano Man. © 2012 AmandaAuthor's Note
