Disappointment

D o you know how hard I’ve tried?

I can’t do it anymore,

S ee what you’ve done to me?

S o what if all I do is cry?

A nyone else would get help.

P lease help me, that’s all I ask,

P oint me in another direction,

O r at least let this end,

I need to treat this festering infection,

N eed to rest until I’m ready,

T ill the end of time, it seems.

M aybe I’ll be better then,

E ven I can be fixed, surely.

N ow’s the time to say goodbye,

T he time to cut all of our ties.

I thought it was a really good idea to spell out the word "disappointment" in your poem. I really liked it, I felt like it flowed nice and I can really relate to this. Very emotional piece, well done!
