I Miss You

Why have you suddenly stopped talking to me? It hurts...

It seems like forever since we last talked,

Maybe it has been, I don’t know,

Are you alright? My past few nights haven’t rocked.

Are you ignoring me? Was I just too much?

It hurts that you won’t even call,

Do I not even deserve that anymore?

Do you even miss me at all?

I miss you terribly,

There’s no doubt about that,

 Too much of you is in my head,

Thoughts buzzing around like gnats.

I can’t stop thinking of our memories,

When we were all having fun.  

One time we even stayed out all night,

Racing home with the rising sun.

Are you giving up on me?

Is this your way of saying goodbye?

Maybe it’s best you don’t say anything,

I don’t want to taint our memories as one big lie.
