Take Me Away

Let the wind take me away,

Blow me far away from here.

Can I take another day?

Can I last another year?

The hope slowly dwindles, 

Leaving but a shell behind.

Tired of the lies that you spindle, 

It shouldn't be what I find. 

Maybe I deserve whats blown my way,

Like an idle leaf on a crisp day

Let the wind take me away.

I like this, to me there are two elements, you feel betrayed, but you lack confidence in your self and consider if the betrayal is due to your short comings, which you really don't believe you have. Possibly I am on the wrong track but that is the impression this work put in my mind
