The Family
A Poem by

The system of a family
The mother only has eyes for the son, Leaving the daughter to bear a ton, The mother could care less, To her the daughter is just a mess. The father once loved the daughter, But that was when she was a toddler, Then the brother came, And wiped away her chance of fame The brother is at the top, Unafraid to give the sister a whop, She tries to fight back, But support is what she lacks. The girl is teetering on the ledge, And one little poke will send her over the edge, But what will that matter? She’s already in tatters.

Yeah, it's groovy. Feeling slightly less depressed now.
I loved the last stanza, my only thing is i don;t think "poke" is the right word... that's all :)
