I'm thankful for every breath I take
I'm thankful for the parts of me you did not take

I'm thankful for the happiness we had
I'm thankful for the good and the bad

I'm thankful for the lessons learned
I'm thankful for bridges burned

I'm thankful for having love lost
I'm thankful for it all regardless of it's cost

I'm thankful for knowing I've loved
I'm thankful for God high up above

I'm thankful for what's next to come
I'm thankful I'm no longer numb

I'm thankful for finding the strength to carry on
