Feel the warmth of the sun so bright
Fret not of the coming night

Let the light shine, from outside in
For today is another chance to begin

Change perception of what ails your heart
Begin anew, today your fresh start

Life will bring you up and down
But there's one we can lean on that's always around

Rejoice in the knowledge, our plan is set
Even if we don't quite understand just yet

We're the sheep and he the shepard
Ties to our worldly life severed

We are loved beyond all measure
Each of us a gem in his treasure

Value and worth we sometimes fail to see
I thank God, he saved a wretch like me

We may struggle but know he is there
I may not know you well but I also care
