Regret?

Regret?

A Poem by Sumo

I don't regret the love I gave so freely
I do regret you cheated so discretely

I don't regret decisions I've made
I do regret allowing myself to be played

I don't regret the good times we shared
I do regret you no longer cared

I don't regret the fulness I felt
I do regret the one knee knelt

I don't regret the time I invested
I do regret your fight rested

I don't regret that you and I are no longer
I do regret you became a monster

Such a strong tone in the poem like the narrator is trying to run from the tears and by the end of the poem, he/she is breaking at the seams. I like that the rhythm is rather quick and is just like at a running pace, if that makes any sense.
