Intoxicating

Intoxicating

A Poem by Sumo
"

First poem that doesn't rhyme... Big step for me. I hope you like.

"
I pick you up, rushing to bring you home

Excited about the time we spend together

Used to be only on the weekend

Now we even spend time together during the week

My mouth waters, it's you i can't wait to taste

I love your curves and even your edges

Many a lonely night you come to my aid

No matter the pain or joy I feel, you're there

A part of my life for many years

I've always turned to you

No judgements, you warm me inside

Comforting me, making my world blur around me

I get lost within your influence

At times, I put you down

Only to pick you back up

Never could I imagine you not in my life

Even the days I don't want you around I think of you

You've got a grip on me

I can't let go

......... Alcohol
