I want to be a better man for you God
Mold me for I am flawed

Guide me down this path
Till that final breath is my last

Help me live a life that honors you
No matter what l may go through

I want to be a better man for me
Unshackle my fears and set my worries free

Take away my worldly habits and ways
Make me a man that sees you and prays

I want to be a better man for my wife
To know when to stand strong and when to cry

To be her everything as she requires
Filling her heart with love and desire

To be her supporter in times of need
Hoping my constant effort, she sees

I want to be a better man for her daughter
Protecting the little lamb from the slaughter

To be an example of what she should seek
Never settling for the worldly and weak

Help me be an inspiration of your strength and power
So she knows it's due to our walk every min and hour
