Irony in all our ways to communicate more. We tend to communicate less with the ones we love the most
We're more concerned with the newest viral post

Technology was meant to make our tasks more efficient
Yet, we tend to feel a simple text is more than sufficient

Our lives are made up of bytes on the information highway
Easy pickings for those who like foul play

It has its advantages but too much is too easy to abuse
We go out together but act as a recluse

Life is much too short to spend it staring at our phones
Work hard on what's close to our hearts and in our homes

Take more than a moment to stare into their eyes
Tell them you love them, take them by surprise

Walk outside late at night, hand and hand
Look up at the stars that shine down onto the land

Soak in every moment as if it's your last
Do this and I'll bet your relationship will last

Set aside the little annoying things that get on your nerves
Forget what others are saying and the things you've heard

Be a professional at home as well as work
Everlasting love will be your perk
