Chapter 2:

 

I stood there shaking in my bed. Sweat was coming down my forehead. My breathing was heavy and my vision was blurry. The dream felt so real. Lex Luther was there laughing at me. I was bound in chains the kryptonite barely 2 inches away from. I felt like I was dying screaming in pain. He laughed even harder. Then I woke up right before I died.

 

 

 

"Akria?" I tried to look up to see were my puppy was but i was too weak. She hopped onto my bed and lay right beside me. She tilted her head trying to found out what was wrong with me.

 

And that was what I was wondering too. Why was my body acting this way? I started to slip away. The pain coming again.

 

 

 

Akria became frightened and ran away out the door. I was trying to hold in my screams I flipped over feeling like my body was rubber. My clock said it was only 4 in the morning. I saw a green light coming from under my bed.  I looked down my blonde hair falling around my face. There under my bed laid kryptonite.

 

 

 

"Ahhhh!" I fell off rolling to the floor. I back up against the wall hugging my knees against my chest. "

 

 

 

"What what’s wrong!?" Andrew came blurting through the door practically taking it off its hinges. His frightened eyes looked at me and then under my bed. They widen in shock.

 

 

 

"How did that get in here?!" He walked slowly over to me and sat.

 

 

 

"I don't know?!"

 

 

 

"How are we going to get it out?"

 

 

 

"I don't know you’re the superman remember." He gave me a smile then it fell off as he looked around the room.

 

 

 

"Where is Akria?"

 

 

 

"She ran out the room like she was scared of something."

 

 

 

"No wonder I would be scared to." His eyes never left the green glow.

 

 

 

"Mom, Dad! Come here!" Kate and Mark came in the room Kate shrieking when she saw the kryptonite.

 

 

 

"What-What is that-that!?" She stammered.

 

 

 

"Kryptonite and we need to get rid of it."

 

 

 

Hold on I have an idea." I whispered i inch toward the kryptonite. Andrew yelling something but his voice was so far away. I kind of felt hypnotize. I held my hands out grabbing the kryptonite. I tried holding back tears.

 

 

 

I turned around showing the object in my hands. Andrew eyes were frightened along with Mark and Kate. I flew out the window dropping a little every now and then. The cold air was hitting my neck. I dropped the kryptonite. I turned around to go back home. I fell toward the ground my hands stretched out in front of me. I tried to steady myself.

 

 

 

I hit the ground getting leaves in my mouth while I still kept going. I grabbed onto the tree jeering it with me. I slowed down. My hair was matted and I was covered in dirt. Andrew then came into view. And landed.

 

 

 

"You know that was very idiotic of you." He said. "But brave that’s why I need you." He gave me a cocky grin while i got up and wiped some dirt off me. We flew in the sky feeling the wind in are hair.

 

 

 

"Thank you Sophia."

 

 

 

I smiled at him. "No problem."

I woke up the next morning and took a shower. I was shaking my hair out when a neatly wrapped box was on my bed. I opened and saw 2 super girl costumes in it.

 

 

 

"You like it?" Andrew came in leaning against the door frame.

 

 

 

"Yeah." I took out the black one. It was a belly tank with long sleeves and had a silver S on it. With a black skirt. I laid it on my bed pulling out the other one. It was the same only red, whet, blue and a gold S.

 

 

 

"I love it." I gave Andrew a hug. He kissed my forehead and walked out the door.

 

I looked at the door while it silently closed. I shook my head.

 

 

 

"Oh by the way there are some people i need you to meet." Andrew popped his head in and i shook my head yes. He walked out while i fished getting dressed. My phone started going off and it was a text message from lily. I’m in the living room with Dick come out!!   I laughed and walked into the living room running into a pair of blue eyes.
