Chapter 3

Chapter 3:

"Hey I’m Josh." He gave me a cocky grin, while flipping his light brown hair to the side.

"Sophia." I shook his hand. "Hey!! Sophia gets your but in here!" Lily screamed from the living room me and him laughed and walked to go meet her.

"Hey Soph." Dick said. He was sitting next to Lily who was practically jumping in her seat. Dick's black shaggy hair was in his eyes like always. He was one of those friendly, mysterious and quite types of guys. Who didn’t match the energetic also talking bubbly Lily.

They are somehow met to be together though. "I see you met Josh." She nodded her eyes toward them. He had his hands in his baggy dark blue jeans.

"Josh tell her what you can do!!!" Lily practically shouted at him. He gave a small chuckle and looked over at me.

"I have super-human speed." He looked back down.

"No way that’s awesome, so wait Lils why did you want me to know that?" She gave me a big smile before clapping her hands together.

"So you know that someone else is a little bit like you! Plus i wanted to see who was faster." I couldn’t help but keep the laughter inside me. I mean it was funny.

"On your mark! Get ready! Set! Go!" Lily waved the flag as me and Josh raced off. Of course I was in the lead for a couple of seconds. I had to admit Josh was fast. As we raced down the run down trail in the middle of the forest i decided that I was going to win.

I slowed down turning into the trees. I flew up in the air to see Dick and Lily making out at the finish line. I flew over Josh landing right in front of him running again. When I was about to pass it josh solved me into a bush and past the finish line dick and Lily jumping apart from each other.

I plucked some leaves out and walked over to the group. "Cheater." I mumbled to Josh while walking past him. He just laughed.

"Why don’t we go somewhere to leave the two love birds alone? I looked over to see Lily having a conversation with Dick on his lap. I shook my head smiling as we walked away from them.

We walked silently in the woods hearing the birds chirp and the sound of the wind blow the leaves. It wasn’t an awkward silence but a comfortable one. "Sooo" He said looking up at the sky pretending it was interesting.

"Sooo" I mocked him only looking at are feet while we walked in the woods.

"You know Lily is a crazy friend you got there."

"I know." I laughed silently to myself a huge grin on my face. We had made it out of the woods and back to my house, somehow.

"Hey." I greeted Andrew when I got to the front door. Neither he nodded his head and shut the door behind us.

"You need a drink?" I asked Josh looking back over my shoulder.

"Water." I nodded my head walking into the kitchen, getting a glass out filling it with cool water. Josh grabbed my waist; I practically jumped out of his grip almost dropping the glass on the floor.

I turned around while he had a big old goofy grin on him. I shoved his glass at him while he took it out of my hands. I hopped on the counter my legs swinging back and forth. He put his hands making me stopped.

I looked up, and noticed he put his water on the counter. "You know, I got to get going." I nodded my hand while he zoomed out of the room. Well that was pretty weird.

I woke up sweaty again. I had the same dream. My body felt like it had been fighting. I looked under my bed. Yep, no Kryptonite. Akria slept in her bed peacefully. Lucky son of gun. I looked around the room trying o find out what looked so different.

"I know who you are." A voice said in my head. My eyes widened in fright. "I know your identity, I know your fears. Face I Sophia I know everything about you."

My heart was racing while I tried to figure out what was happening. I gripped the side of my head my hair going up. I gulped wondering what I was freaking out about. Nobody knows me.

Except for my friends and my family.

"I know your Super girl, And I’m your biggest nightmare." The voice whispered. I was kind of freaked out. I put my headphones in the song Limp bye Sumo Cyco feeling my ears.

Music always cleared my head. I bobbed my head with the music. "You think that will block me out" The voice whispered. I turned the volume up louder. The voice just chuckled. So I tried singing with it.

My voice was shaky but I couldn’t hear it as I turned it up louder and the louder it was the voice chuckled louder. The lyrics were then replaced by his own.

"I would love to kill you, the young Super girl. I will come after you. I will find the answers; you will die in the end." I started to hypervenelate. As the song continued to play. The words just kept repeating.

"Get out! Stop!" I screamed throwing the mp3 player against the wall. Akria's head popped up as she looked at me.

"That won’t get rid of me." After hours of my heavy breathing the voice didn’t speak again. I looked over and saw that the sun was rising.

Groaning I put my head on my pillow trying to fall asleep. I was just about to doze off when Andrew knocked on my door.

"Get up sleepy head." Knowing him, I knew he was smiling.

"No," My voice was muffled by the pillow. I felt something tilt the bed a little and saw he was sitting on it staring at me.

"What happened to your mp3?"

"I broke it." I moved my head to I was looking up at him but had half my face on the pillow.

"Why?"

"I don’t know."

He looked at me and shook his head. "What?" My voice raised a little but fell back down.

"Nothing, you know I heard you last night." My breathing started to go ragged as I sat up almost falling off the bed.

"Y-you-you did??" His smile fell as he looked over at me.

"Yeah, I heard you scream 'get out, stop'." I looked at the ground. Okay think Sophia. What can you use as an excuse!?"

"I.....had a bad dream?" It came out more of a question then a statement. He shook his head and walked out of my room. I fell back on the bed looking up at the ceiling. I finally decided to get up. Looking at myself in the mirror my hair was super tangled my clothes were wrinkled and my eyes had bags under them.

I tugged my shirt down. And walked into the kitchen to be greeted by...well no one. I got a bowl and fixed me some cereal. I walked into the room scooping a spoon full in my mouth.

"Well hello Super girl." The food dropped out of my mouth as i looked up to see....
