Chapter 7

I twirled around meeting the dark eye of Lex. He stood there in a suit with a few robots behind him.

"Well if it isn't some creepy old dude." Lily came behind me putting her hands on her hips. I bit my lip trying to hold in my laugh.

"Lily no, just no." I whispered to her. She nodded her head and put her hands down.

"Look Sophia I can make this easy or this can be hard your choice darling."

"I'm not telling you Superman's Identity." I said in a duh tone.

"Well you have givin' me no choice." He shook his head looking at the ground. "Grab the boy and the girl. I will get Sophia." The robots came out of nowhere and grabbed a hold on Josh and Lily. Lex walked slowly toward me and pulled out some giant tazer gun.

He pointed it toward me. "Your choice you ready to tell me?" I shook my head.

"Okay." He shrugged his shoulders and pulled the trigger. A bolt of energy came flying out of it. I did a cartwheel the energy missing me by a milliliter.

He groaned and started shooting again and i jumped and did everything i could to miss the shots. I looked over at Lily who was screaming for help.

"Watch out!" Josh screamed at me. I looked behind me to see a ball of energy coming my way. I dunked rolling over to Josh.

"When I dunk you do it okay?"

"Kay'" Lex shot the tazer again i dunked with Josh right behind me. The robot exploded feeling a wave of heat on are backs.

"You go get Lily! I will go get Lex!" I shouted to Josh over the explosion. We ran off in diff rent directions. Lex looked at me moving the tazer gun up slowly. I flew up in the air and landed behind him.

"We can end this now." I put my arm around his neck putting him in one of those death holds.

"Never." He said. I started to squeeze his neck. He fumbled with the gun pulling on the trigger he tried to aim for me. Light was everywhere as Lex went limp in arms. He looked up with lifeless eyes.

Stepping back i let him go. He had shot himself in the chest with the gun. Lily and Josh came running by my side.

"What happened?" Lily's big brown eyes looked up at me.

"He shot himself." I was surprised and shocked.

"Wow." I looked around to see Josh looking at lex and bodies of robots all over the place. Looking up in the sky I saw more robots coming are way.

"Hey look what i found." Lily pulled out a grenade from Lex's jacket.

"We’re going to need that." I muttered. I snatched the grenade from her hands and pulled off the cap. And threw it toward the robots once they reached the ground.

Josh swooped us up and ran toward the trees. I looked behind me to see fire and lots of metal parts everywhere.

3 days later we were finally home. "Andrew!" I ran up to him getting caught in a big hug.

"Where have you been?!" He set me down looking at me. I avoided his question.

"Lex Luther is dead Andrew."

"What how?" Josh came up beside me.

"Well he was trying to kill Sophia but shot himself by accident. “His mouth formed an o for.

"Why was he trying to kill you?"

"Because he wanted your identity for some odd reason and I wouldn't give it to him." I smiled at my cousin he gave me another hug.

"I’m going to go ahead and get dinner started." He walked into the house scratching the back of his head.

I turned and looked at Josh.

"Thanks for helping me." I gave him a small hug and we just stood there for a while. I looked back and into his eyes.

He then kissed me softly on the lips. It was better than the last time. We kissed for a while.

"Oh gross guys! Get a room!" Lily burs ted out of nowhere. We quickly separated while Dick and Lily walked into the house hand and hand.

Josh kissed me on the nose. "Let’s go." He gave me a crooked smile and we walked into the house ready to eat some real food.
