The RainA Poem by LoeweA poem I wrote for my little sister.A blissful ecstasy so uplifting
Dripping from my finger tips Each drop carrying with it The weight of my sorrow and grime Listen as each beat falls against my window Like falling stars, I'm making a wish on each drop Counting them as soldiers fighting to wash The sins of the vile away A new day dawning beneath a clouded sky I've never felt more alive than right now Dancing among the colorful parasols Splashing in the puddles of pain Washed away with the rain Each just waiting for the sun To remove such sorrows from my sight Breeding new smiles on the many faces God bless the rain © 2012 LoeweAuthor's Note
