Autumn already? I guess it is. For me, summer never really ends. What a poetic tribute to those sunny days! This is my new favorite micropoem of yours.

It is getting that way, we are still having some lovely sunny afternoons, but other days in between have been undeniably chilly! ;o/ A sign autumn is creeping. It will Christmas and snow before we know it! Is it warm all the time, never even so much a chilly breeze where you are?

I have a friend I met on WordPress who lives in Arizona, it's pretty warm for her too. She a great artist and has just agreed to specially create some art for the January issue of The Writing Garden, (a snowy woodland theme) must be strange doing such cool art in such a warm place. Still, chilly thoughts must help a little!

Thank you kindly Roland, it's a favourite of mine too, especially the gif. Can't recall ever running so fast in water myself, but it makes me smile to remember the energy most of us had when we were kids. Wouldn't it be great to get that back - I'd run everywhere! :oD

Arizona has some high country where it snows; it snows on the rim of the Grand Canyon, for example. We certainly do have chilly breezes and chilly nights in the winter, but almost every day we have sunshine, and if I sit in the sun in an area sheltered from the wind, I can take my shirt off and enjoy it on even the coldest days.

Is there anything more captivating than sunlight on water? ...perhaps moonlight, but I agree...it truly inspires!

Not a lot! Sunlight on water is so gorgeous when captured perfectly, and this gif is so perfect in my mind. I kept seeing it posted on Tumblr, so just had to write something to go with it. Moonlight is good too, anything moon related is very popular on Tumblr blogs too, doesn't matter if it's gifs or writing. Lightning is another one, loved a lot by many! :o)
