Autumn Tells The Story So WellA Poem by SaruwaThe rain drips down on an autumn mellow-scape. Leaves of gold tinged with death, but so beautiful in their final hour. In their passing a moment of joy, when passerby sees it's glory unfold. The raindrop like a magnifying glass exposes it's foliage, Within a story so unique. A last beckoning cry to summer love and blue skies. It brings a haunting melody I sing year round, so sweet and melancholy the same. Of past and present and future oh I hope to be. I hope this picture bodes well for me. Ironies of time past and wishes for time to come. Alas a thrill awaits the heart still, so long as the rains and seasons persist. A gentle farewell to seasons ago, and greetings to a new path covered in snow. © 2015 SaruwaFeatured Review
