Come backA Poem by SweetHello dear Happiness. Where have you been? All I feel is loneliness. You're nowhere to be seen. I thought you'd be mine, and I'd always be yours.
That our mornings would shine, while enjoying the outdoors. But now you're gone, and I'm left sinking. The light that once shone, only keeps on decreasing. I thought I was fine, that I was moving on.
I thought I'd be alright, but so much's going on. My heart misses you, there's no joy left in it.
My mind thinks of you, day and night you're in it. The memories and songs, I can't bare anymore.
Everything links to you and stabs me to the core. Your voice resounds in my head, wish I could hear it again.
Your absence causes me dread, left a hole that brings pain. Now I'm going to sleep, and try to drown all this ache.
Wish I could hear your lullabies, that used to kept me awake. Although the emptiness kills me, I have hope, oh sweet bane, That you'll come back into my life, and make me feel whole again.
