The Silk Veil of The Moon

We made love beneath the silk veil of the moon
Misty shadows waltzing beside a blue lagoon
'Til the sands of time could not pretend
Upon parchment lips our love was penned...
We made love within the silhouettes of night
To the soft whispers of jasmine moonlight
We made love upon satin wings of no return
Until our ravished skin became moonlight burned...

 

We made love as our bodies interlaced
Bathing in waves with no footprints to trace
As ebb and flow of tides softly caressed
The pale moonlight glowed upon the nights breast
Our undying love haunting the seashore
Soft lavender whispers forevermore.
