The Curtain of My Smile

Why do I float like driftwood?
whenever I think of you,
Floating freely... An aura,
an aura of a sapphire hue

 

Enchanting nights I surrender,
sweet lips and eyes of violet blue

 

Do I portray sweet temptation?
behind the curtain of my smile;
In the bedroom of my thoughts,
seducing slowly like a sundial

 

Let us get lost within the fork in the road
like a carriage in fog of the night;
Within the silhouettes of love,
brushed by soft eyelashes of moonlight

 

When you cannot be close to my side,
 reins of my thoughts...I cannot hide
The phantom of your persona
may take me for a buggy ride

i really like the idea of the buggy ride and the fork in the road...

i like the individual stanzas in this..your usual beautiful description...but was hoping for more on that buggy ride, cinderella type theme...maybe in all of the stanzas...

but i am just one reader...and could be way off base.
