Sultry Eyes of the Moon

Beneath the sultry eyes of the moon
is a misty veil of seduction,
arousing like a belly dancer...

 

And in the navel of a black opal night
is a venus star shining bright
sensuously rolling,
like the Persian tides...

 

While lilac winds gracefully dance,
serpentine stars slither
across moonlit limbs of a gypsy moon...

 

Can you hear the finger cymbals
within the tempo of the night?
Accompanying rotating hips
within cobweb scarves of moonlight.

Thanks jacob...well you are more of a masculine writer...we write differently. I usually visualize what I want to write about...plus women have photographic memories...thats why they are suppose to better spellers then men...Have you found that out to be true as an English teacher? Rose

most often, yes, women are better spellers...i think they seem more aware, in general, of the surroundings...take it all in...many males seem to just plow ahead...not all, many men have those tendencies...to gather in...that is why there are so many male poets...but in general...sure..."a more masculine writer"?
that is interesting...in what way do you mean that? just curious.
