The Water's EdgeA Poem by SyberRosePainting/Claude Monet
I walk along the water’s edge, Where, weeping willow roots grow deep. Riverbanks flow with grains of sand Flowing deeply, with thoughts of you. A tiny pebble of your smile, Skip’s over the shimmer of yesterday. Footprints in salmon and ivory sand, Flows through the hourglass of time, And as the crystal pendulum sing’s I walk along the water’s edge; Where weeping willow roots grow deep Beneath the midnight starry skies, I slip upon the grapes of love, And marvel at reflections of once was. ©SyberRose © 2013 SyberRoseAuthor's Note
