A Diamond Bouquet

 

Haunting winds whispering your name

                As I bathe in the breeze of magnolia

 

Purple flowers bloom in the rain

Within sheer brilliance of the stars

 

A bouquet shining brightly

                A diamond bouquet

                                In the mounting of the night

 

But your love was as wondrous

As a purplish pink diamond

In the golden band of the moon

 

Wondrous as a Brazilian sunset

As it kisses softly the ocean adieu

 

Your image in purple baguettes of the rain

As haunting winds whisper your name
