Early Morning MistA Poem by SyberRoseIn the early morning mist, the cricket frogs play On milky white lily pads, practicing their ballet The jewel wing damselfly, in a silken web just spun Narrowly escapes the spider, spinning in the sun The whip-poor-will watching, in nest above the pond Watching the red bellied turtle, eating sun flys so fond The swallowtail butterfly, dancing in the air Fluttering to the music, of crickets everywhere The fragrance of honeysuckle, intoxicating so sweet While vines of English ivy, climbing trees so discreet The weeping willows dance, lazily in the breeze Another day in paradise, me and the ducks and bees ©SyberRose
