Rainforest Dreams

Sweet dreams of the tropical rainforest

In the shadows of the jade moonbeams;

Making love in the dark, content as a lark

come and hide in the shadow of my dreams...

Come bathe in the jungles of the rainforest

among the orchids and the bromeliad;

Safe from the piranha,and the anaconda

among the water lilies we will wade...

In the sanctuaries of parrots and toucans

the tall bamboo and the moss doth drape;

Just the iguana's and the liana

under the blanket of our jade dreamscape...

Awaken to the abundance of sweet flora,

turquoise waterfalls and song of fauna...

This poem transport us in person to live in the arms of mother nature in the rain forest with all its wonder and to add to all of that is love and passion . Like the other reviewer said I like how you mentioned the different plants and flowers along with birds and reptiles...Well done...Bravo...:)
