It was a precious moment to cherish

A moment when love did exist

But fate of love was meant to perish

As weaknesses’ could not resist~

 

It was a time of foolish dreams

And portrait of emptiness

The uncharacteristic schemes

A feeling of amorousness~

 

T'was a wish above all wishes

It was torturous to the heart

A bouquet not meant to flourish

It was as precious as fine art~

 

T'was a mysterious moment in time

But enchanting bells were not meant to chime.

Beautiful.
There's a simplicity to it that I like, like with the rhyme scheme. It adds to the magnitude; it just generates sounds on another level if that makes sense. It's very lyrical too and I feel these words could carry much depth in song. Wonderful write.
