Deep in the core of our hearts are promises, secrets, and desires buried in the sands of time, and within the shell of our body is another person waiting to emerge and breathe the essence of tomorrow; Waiting for a slight zephyr to lift and invite us to fly within the winds of breathlessness like a baby sparrow upon the wingspan of freedom, inhaling the serenity of a new day. They say we all have a twin; a twin within us, aching to be introduced.
This poem Rose, is many-layered. A few readings later and I felt I was being drawn in to a magical world where words can heal and enamour and soothe. Just what the doctor ordered ;)
