The Nights Perfume

The Nights Perfume

A Poem by SyberRose

The eyes of a scarlet moon shining bright

illuminates dark shadows in the night

Bare lips taste of a kiss so sweet;

undressed are the lips from hot summers heat~

Ivory skin is flushed like rose petals

soft as black velvet as the night settles

The scent of romance emerges like a tear

as desire in the window of night peers~

And as the wind rides the stallion of dark

wildflowers wake as stem of moonlight embarks

Ecstasy tears flow down slope of mountains

as afterglow blooms in predawn fountains~

And musky essence of the nights perfume

impregnates a sweet insatiable bloom~

Thank you Sarah...so nice to see you today and thanks for taking time to read...:)
I loved this write, Rose. Loved everything about it, the title and picture, too.

The wording was amazing, as always, well done!
