For Contest

I am a woman strong and gentle within depths of my soul

I wonder...will i be lonesome for someone to stroll?

I hear lonely whispers in the wind of the night

I see shadows hiding behind the veil of moonlight

I want to be a drummer...not beneath a drummers roll

I am a woman strong and gentle within depths of my soul~

I pretend i do not hurt when my heart is teased

I feel alive within the whispers of the breeze

I touch with my heart...pain and hurt i have tasted 

I worry that my love and passion will be wasted

I cry that someday age and time will take its toll

I am a woman strong and gentle within depths of my soul~

I understand that love must flow freely like the tides

I say let the waves of my feelings be my guide

I dream love and light will shine from within me

I try to make strength and courage the key

I hope someday i find a peace within and feel whole
