If you FollowA Poem by SyberRose
If you
follow a colonnade of candles upon emerald fern stepping
stones, scintillating lanterns and fluting winds of the trees, lilac
mist from sunset rain and yellow, gold, and rustic
leaves~
Follow
whispers in the wind, listen for the whip-poor-will honeysuckle
in their beaks, and if you listen and be still~
Gardenia
wax dripping down the shaft of night within
the woodlands in nocturnal moonlight~
Beneath
embellishment of stars a rustic table set for two and
goblets of Chardonnay will be the appetizer for
me and you.
