Silken Words

 

The fragrance of the dark becalms the night

and the breath of the twilight winds

whisper of silken words and black satin

along erogenous branch

of my spine~

 

Velvet dew lingers within the cerulean fog

beneath eeriness of a gibbous moon,

and ardent songs penned from bosoms well

undresses the nakedness

of the heart~

 

Beyond glare of the sun where passions burn

are teardrops from the dark nimbus above

and fate my vainglorious Intruder

lingering at the threshold

of my door~

 

The pendulum of the blue teal ocean

sways with the mystery of time

and harmonious sighs of desire

fade with the burgundy leaves

of autumn.

What an excellent poem. For some reason it conjures up the idea of a romance between the ocean and the moon. I'm almost positive that's a folk tale somewhere...I just can't recall it at the moment. On a subtle level, this poem is very sexual in an almost...soul to soul way, as if the two in the tale are making love not with their bodies, but with the essence and of who and what they are.

Fascinating.
