Fire

 

Burn me up and burn me down

 

Burn my heart into the ground

 

Fill me up and make me scream

 

Make me live and make me dream

 

Make me numb and make me feel

 

Make yourself the one thing real

 

Shut your eyes and fire you’ll see

 

Shut this gaping cavity

Gasps cut off by teeth and mouth

 

You hold north and I’ll go south

 

Hold on tight and don’t let go

 

Two bright flames in world of snow.

this is yet another great write..
i dont think they are random,for they are again so deep
i will call for a poet to start my fire,burn me to the ground
make me live ,yet full of dreams ,its only you,get me numb
yet so real,shut your eyes open your mind for me
we will go from here,to all sides like burning flames
you only drive me to see whats this world used to hide
lead and i will follow,you never left me half way

I love the metaphors you incorporate into this poem, they're the very thing that makes this poem an amazing read. My favorite part is the part where you state that the two are flames in a cold world. Great job, I enjoyed this.
