The Saddest Love Letter

Something I wrote on the train to work one day... It's about someone moving country away from a girl he loves, but doesn't feel the same about him...

I have so much to tell you…
Things that my lips would never dream of saying, but my eyes would betray in an instant.
Things that I think whenever I see your face, smiling, that same smile.
Things that I feel, but hide shyly.
Things that I know I shouldn’t feel.

This was my fault… But still… What if…
And now, as you smile back at me, happy moments immortalised in a frame,
I know it’s too late.
So this is my last creation… Words of emotion captured for you and only you, as I prepare to say goodbye…

One last time…

And prepare to become just another fond memory, another forgotten friend.
Just that guy, from that place, from that time.
