Temporary Measures

Inspired by Riku from Kingdom Hearts... I imagined what it was like giving himself to the darkness, and this is what happened...

It's hard to walk the right path,
and stay in the light,
When your enemy is evil,
and uses darkness to fight.
So I don't fight it.
I let it engulf and hold me,
but I keep my light in my chest burning bright,
so it will never control me.
Surrounded by people.
Crowded, but lonely,
And the person closest to my heart,
I'm scared to let know me.
Simple solution to my problems?
Ha! If only.
So this is a simple poem
about the darkness in my heart
before I use it as my weapon
and then rip it apart.

I liked this, though I think ...we need both. A balance of fire and ice, bad and nice, darkness and light. then whats to fight.
